We have an ongoing need for the positions listed in the sidebar and we interview year-round throughout Canada for these positions.

For employment on board, you must have two years of related experience. For example, front desk personnel (pursers), need two years experience and/or training in a hotel, and photographers would require two years experience in photography.

Most of our cruise ship contracts include six months onboard, then one to two months at home. Management positions usually serve four months onboard with two months at home and then back to sea again. If you are not sure which position would suit you best, send us your application and we can go over the options with you.

Seasonal Staff

We also have an ongoing need for seasonal, one week to three month positions for youth staff and youth supervisors during holiday periods when we have more children/youth onboard. We occasionally have seasonal youth positions available with contracts as long as six months.

As Youth Staff you will assist our full time staff with onboard youth activities. Youth Security ensures that everyone is having a good time while ensuring that the shipboard policies are adhered to.

To qualify, you must have one-two years experience with children in a group setting or formal teaching experience (teachers college, early childhood development training, or camp counseling). Many of our staff are teachers or teachers-in-training, early childhood educators, outdoor recreation staff, camp counselors, lifeguards.
