Cruise Ship Positions
Currently, the cruise companies we primarily work with have a hold on crew recruitment until further notice due to Covid19.
With regards to possible future, employment onboard, you typically must have two years of relevant shore-side experience. For example, front desk personnel (pursers), need two years experience and/or training in a hotel, and photographers would require two years experience in studio or freelance photography.
Most cruise ship contracts include six months onboard, then one to two months at home. Management and medical positions usually serve four months onboard with two months at home and then back to sea again. If you are not sure which position would suit you best, please send us your resume to [email protected] and we can provide you with some suitable options.

Seasonal Staff
Cruise lines can sometimes have a need for seasonal youth staff and youth supervisors during holiday periods when the lines have more children/youth onboard. Cruise lines occasionally have youth positions available for contracts as long as six months.
As Youth Staff you would assist full time staff with the facilitation of onboard youth activities. Youth Security ensure that everyone is having a good time while adhering to shipboard policies.
To qualify for the youth roles typically you must have 1-2 years of experience with children in a group settings or formal teaching experience (teachers college, early childhood development training, or camp counselling). Many of youth staff are teachers or teachers-in-training, early childhood educators, outdoor recreation staff, camp counsellors or lifeguards.
